What’s next for HYT under CEO Vahe Vartzbed?
After more than a year at the helm of HYT, CEO Vahe Vartzbed is setting bold new directions for the independent watch brand. In a recent interview with WorldTempus, he discussed the future of HYT while showcasing the latest release from the brand: the T1 Millésime capsule collection, launched during Geneva Watch Days.
Housed in a 45mm titanium case—HYT's smallest yet—the T1 Millésime features a striking purple dial and is paired with a sleek white strap. But the real star of the show? The signature fluid time display that marks the minutes via a glass capillary tube. The collection includes three models, offering different combinations of titanium, red gold, and unique dial colors like purple, green, and chocolate.
Named after the French term "millésime," meaning an exceptional vintage, this limited-edition series will only be available between September 2024 and April 2025. Interested in learning more about this intriguing blend of tradition and innovation?
Can a watch help save rhinos?
Hublot and Sorai have teamed up once again to launch a stunning new timepiece that does more than just tell time—it supports a critical mission to protect endangered rhinos. The fourth watch in their ongoing partnership, the Hublot x Sorai is crafted in sleek grey ceramic, with a tonneau-shaped case and a beautiful three-dimensional rhino on the dial. But this limited edition of just 30 pieces is more than just a watch; it's a symbol of hope and unity in the fight against poaching.
Led by international cricketer and conservationist Kevin Pietersen, Sorai uses the funds from this collaboration to support initiatives like anti-poaching technology, canine units, and educating communities around South Africa’s Kruger National Park. With each watch sold, you’re not just buying a luxury item—you’re directly contributing to saving a species in peril.
